All pricing is confirmed in writing before the job. There are no hidden fees. If anything unexpected arises (like poor drainage or low water pressure), I will discuss it with you straight away

Will you take the time to listen to what I need?

Definitely. Understanding your expectations, budget, and pain points are the most important parts of the job. I am always happy to chat, explain the process, and make sure the service delivers the outcome you are looking for.

Do you work with customers who don’t use email or mobile phones?

Of course. I am happy to meet you in person, provide a handwritten quote and organise everything over the phone. I have worked with many seniors and understand that not everyone wants digital communication. Clear dates, times, good communication and a handshake still go a long way.

What if the weather is bad on the day?

If conditions are unsafe or would affect the quality of the clean, we will reschedule. We watch the forecast closely and will always contact you in advance if a change is needed.

How do you treat lichen on roofs?

We use a biocide treatment that penetrates the root-like structures of the lichen to kill it at the microbial level. It’s a gentle, non-invasive method that protects your roof and slows future regrowth.

How long does biocide treatment take to work?

You will see changes within 8 weeks. Lichen will yellow, dry, and flake away naturally over 6 to 12 months with the help of wind and rain. The treatment includes an 18-month warranty for peace of mind.

What chemicals are used in soft washing?

We use a tailored mix of chlorine (sodium hypochlorite), surfactants (detergents) and biocides (fungicides). These are safe and commonly used in household and commercial cleaning. Every mix is chosen based on the surface and type of grime being removed.

What is soft washing, and how does it work?

Soft washing is a low-pressure cleaning method that uses a specialised mix of safe chemicals to remove organic growth like algae, mould, moss and lichen without damaging surfaces. It is ideal for roofs, render, and painted surfaces that can not handle high-pressure water.

What happens on the day of the job?

I will arrive on time and check in with you before starting. If you are home, we will walk through the job together. I will pre-wet and protect plants and landscaping, carry out the clean, rinse thoroughly and then tidy up after myself. At the end of the day, we will again walk around the area to give you the opportunity to inspect before I depart.

Will you protect my plants and garden?

Yes - absolutely. All plants are pre-soaked before cleaning and rinsed thoroughly afterward. Delicate areas are covered with protective sheeting when needed. If you have special garden features or concerns, just let me know during the quote so I can allow time to protect them properly.

What kind of surfaces and stains can you clean?

We clean roofs, walls, gutters, driveways, paths, windows, fences, solar panels and more. We remove dirt, dust, grime, oil stains, algae, moss, mould, mildew and lichen. Early action on stains like oil will always deliver better results.

How long does the cleaning take?

That depends on the size and condition of the property. Smaller jobs can be done in a few hours. Larger or more detailed cleans may take a full day. You will be given a time estimate during quoting.

What should I do to prepare for cleaning day?

Please unlock any gates, close all windows and doors, and remove outdoor items like cushions, furniture and washing from the line. If vehicles are in the way, move them beforehand. Pets should be kept indoors during and shortly after cleaning.

How are bookings and communication managed?

Once you are booked in everything is tracked in our CRM system. You will receive quote approvals, service reminders, booking confirmations and invoices all via email or SMS. It keeps everything clear and simple.

Who will be doing the work?

Every job is completed by me, Drew - the owner and operator. I do not use subcontractors. That means you always know who is coming to your home, and the results are guaranteed to be clean beyond expectations.

When will I hear back?

This is an owner-operated business, so if I do not answer straight away, I’m likely on a roof or operating machinery. As soon as I see your missed call or enquiry, I’ll be in touch. You’ll also receive an automatic confirmation if you use the web form, so you know your message has been received.
